Obituary of Michael James Wemhoner

Michael James Wemhoner, 35, located in Richlands, North Carolina, passed away on February 27, 2024.

Michael was born August 23, 1988, to Donald and Peggy Wemhoner in Peoria, Arizona. After Michael graduated from Peoria High School in 2006, he joined the United States Marine Corps.

While in the Marine Corps, Michael worked as an air munitions specialist and was currently serving as a Marine Combat Instructor.

Michael met Daneci while serving in California and married in 2012. Michael and Daneci went on to have two children, Emma and Wyatt.

Michael was currently on active duty in North Carolina. He often enjoyed spending time with family and was very proud of his children. Michael enjoyed baseball, fishing, and had picked up a love for distance running over the last couple of years.

Michael is survived by Daneci, Emma, and Wyatt. His parents, Don and Peggy Wemhoner, and his sisters, Lindsey and Valerie.
