Veronica Plumb, 70, of Phoenix died February 26, 2021, in Mesa, AZ from long-term complications of Covid-19.
She was born in Casper, Wyoming, and raised by Wilkins and Marianne Spencer. She grew up in Casper, Santa Barbara, CA, and Reno, NV. She briefly lived in Rexburg, ID, Bountiful, UT, and Hawthorne, NV, before coming to the Valley of the Sun where she would meet, and marry, Roger Plumb. Veronica loved recycling, couponing, watching HGTV, playing Canasta, and spending time with her niece’s family.
Veronica is survived by her siblings Rosemary (Bob) McCandless of Riverside, CA, Marianne “Shorty” Hall of Albuquerque, NM, and Fred (Carolyn) Spencer of Pine, AZ, her niece and caregiver Melissa Swearingen (Mac) Watson of Phoenix, her brother-in-law Joel Swearingen of Cody, WY, her sister-in-law Roberta Stultz of Tempe, AZ, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings Patricia (Bill) Moore, Jonathan Spencer, and Kathleen Swearingen.
A graveside service is planned for March 15 at Wyoming Memorial Gardens in Casper.
