William E. Koeppen
William E. Koeppen, 90, passed away peacefully with family at his side on March 11, 2019. He is celebrating with our Lord now and can see, hear, sail and step those sailboat masts again! He took great comfort and joy in coming to know the Lord over the past 15 years.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Alice, his half-brother, Eugene (Bud) and half-sister Gail Butler. He is survived by his wife Linda of 42 years, his 2 sons Todd (Charlene) of Scottsdale AZ, Mark (Patricia) of Danville CA and daughter Nicole Price (Barry) of Big Pine Key, FL. Bill also leaves 3 loving granddaughters Lindsay, Courtney and Sydney.
Bill was born on October 14, 1928 to Alice Mildred and William F. Koeppen in Dayton, Ohio. He attended Miami University and worked for many years as a designer draftsman for General Motors in Dayton. His final working years were spent as the construction project manager for Greene Memorial Hospital, Xenia OH. Bill loved to sail and work on and about boats. He enjoyed lifelong friendships with many fellow sailors at Indian Lake Yacht Club.
Celebrations of Bill's life will take place in Sun City AZ where he and Linda have spent the past 16 years and in Dayton Ohio. AZ friends and family will celebrate his life on March 31, 2019 in the multipurpose room of Paradise RV Park at 2pm. Services will be held in Dayton OH this summer on a date and at a location to be determined.
