Nedra Arlene Offenberger

Nedra (Howard) Offenberger passed away on January 6, 2023 in Surprise, Arizona after a brief illness.

She was born in Illinois in 1941, where she graduated from Wyoming High School and Knox College and embarked on a brief but influential vocation in gifted education.  Soon thereafter, she moved to Phoenix, AZ area where she lived the remainder of her full life.  She raised 2 children and was an active and loving influence in the lives of her grandchildren and family she gained by marriage.  Nedra had a diverse and distinished career with Smitty's (and later iterations), at both the store and administrative levels.  She very much loved her husband Dale, the arts, lifelong learning, an FaceTime and Facebook (or any way to connect with family and friends).  

A celebration of life and potluck is planned for Saturday February 4th @ 4PM in East Phoenix at Eric and Heather's House.
