Marcella Rowe

October 3, 1983 — December 1, 2017

Marcella Eufemia "Lala" (Gonzalez) Rowe was born October 3, 1983 in Fort Worth, Texas to Steven Gonzalez and Terri Pena Gonzalez. She was raised in San Antonio, Texas. After receiving her education from Saint Francis Academy in San Antonio, Texas, she enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2002. Although she was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in 2008, her main devotion is being a supportive wife and stay at home mother. Marcella met the love of her life during her first Duty Station at Dyess AFB, Texas in 2002. Marcella and Branden were united in Holy Matrimony on November 2, 2007. To this union they were blessed with three wonderful sons. She enjoyed reading, planning family outings, spending quality time with extended family, visiting the beach and most of all devoting her time and love to her husband and children. Marcella was an active member of Christ Church of the Valley. She loved volunteering and allowing God to use her in several disciplines within the church. Her bright, warm, and loving spirit led her to devote many hours to the children's ministry and youth sports. Marcella entered eternal rest, with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on December 1, 2017 after a very brave battle with cancer. She is a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply cherished by all those whose lives she has touched. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Manuela Gonzalez, special Tia Nancy, and grandmother in law Lula. She leaves to cherish her memory to: husband Branden Rowe Sr.; children, Branden, Jr., Michael, and Jeremiah of Surprise, Arizona; father, Steven Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas; mother, Terri Pena Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas; grandfather, Julio Gonzalez, Sr of Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, Steven Gonzalez, Jr (Gen) of Prosser, Washington and Vincent Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Angela Gonzalez and Margaret Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas; and mother in law, Connie Rowe of Columbia, South Carolina, three sister in laws and three brother in laws. Also, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
