Mr. Lee Arthur Pace, of Sun City, AZ and Ann Arbor, MI, transitioned from this life on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at the age of 77.

He was born to parents Rebecca and Paul Thomas Pace on March 23, 1942, in Forest, Mississippi. He grew up as the eldest of two sons and graduated from Inkster High School in 1960. Lee accepted Jesus as his Savior at an early age and was baptized at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He worked as a tool-and-die maker at General Motors for over 43 years and retired in 2008. He earned an associate's degree from Washtenaw Community College and a real estate license in the State of Michigan as well.

Left to honor Lee and remember his love is his wife Carole (Carr) Pace; his son Damon Pace (Bethany) of Bel Air, MD from his union to the late Shirley Ann (Cook) Pace; granddaughters Daphne Elizabeth and Juliet Shirley Pace; five stepchildren Karin (Eric), Kathleen (Joe), Patricia (Greg), Ken, and Kelly; 15 step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, Uncles Al, MacNeal, and Willie Boler, six brothers and sisters in law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lee was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Paul. Lee was a physical fitness enthusiast and ran in several marathons. Lee will best be remembered for his love of dancing, Detroit-area sports teams, travel, and his devotion to his family. He will be missed by many.Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in Lee's honor.
