Died peacefully after long illness. Born 10/24/1925 died 10/24/2018 yes on her birthday. Age 93.
Parents Ethel Pirtle Johnson and Robert J.Johnson. She was a single child.Born in Grandfield OK.
Received a degree in Nursing.
Preceded in death by 2 husbands. William R. Vale (Bill) 1948/1974. Claude Brown 1989/1997.
Had 7 Children with Bill. Peggy,Robert,John,Stephen,Janet,Jean,David. Had 8 Grandchildren.
Had 8 Great Grandkids 1 Neice 1 nephew.
Spent 20yrs as a housewife & Partner with Bill Vale when they raced Greyhounds with a large kennel in Phoenix AZ & various Tracks around the country. Spent several seasons at Calienta racetrack in Mexico.
Family then in 1959 permanently lived in Scottsdale & Phoenix AZ area.
Mom traveled since she was born with Parents. Then with each husband through out the years. And at one time or another with kids. Lived all over the country.
Loved the AZ desert. Loved western art. Took up painting & art with Claude Brown. Did quite well.
Arts & Crafts. Knitted 100's of AZ design blankets & throws. Gardening.
Above all loved Books. Always had a book in hand. Passed
on the love of reading to her kids.
Passionate about her Dogs & Cats. She Loved Life! Been there done That!
