Remembering and Celebrating the Life of Dennis (Denny, Uncle Den Den) Homolka
December 13, 1942 - April 22, 2020
Dennis Homolka, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, in Sun City, Arizona. He grew up in
Grand Forks, North Dakota, and was a 1960 graduate of Central High School. He moved to California in 1962
and graduated from machinist school. He got married and had his family before moving to Minneapolis,
Minnesota, where he lived for 36 years. He retired from Minnegasco after 32 years. After he retired, Denny and
his wife, Juel, headed to Sun City, Arizona, to soak up the sun and play golf all winter. Summers were spent in
Minnesota at a cabin on Lake Koronis where he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and pontooning around the lake.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Juel Homolka. He is also survived by his son Dale (Karen) Homolka
from Jacksonville, Illinois, and his son Greg (Stacy) Homolka of Gilbert, Arizona. He adored his two beautiful
granddaughters, Nora and Sophie Homolka. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Dolores
Homolka and his brother Darrell Homolka.
