Clauchette Cushing

Clauchette Victoria Cushing, 41, passed away Saturday October 15, 2016. Clauchette grew up in Phoenix, AZ and was a graduate of Glendale High School. She was married to the love of her life, Christoper V. Cushing, on June 24, 1995. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the San Diego LDS Temple exactly five years later. They have five beautiful children, Brittany Alayne, Caleb Noah, Emily Marie, Caitlyn Jayne and Jacob Isaiah. She was the best mother ever and a wonderful friend to all. She had a beautiful spirit of love and friendship towards others. Her smile would light up a room and she never met a baby she didn't love to hold. Her love for her children held no bounds. She loved spending time with her family and playing games. She made a point to spend time with her children and her extended family. She served in many callings in her church including Activity Days Leader, Primary teacher, Relief Society Enrichment Leader and other various callings. She suffered from a heart condition and on January 31, 2007 received a new heart. She is preceded in death by her father Clarence Anthony Towns and her great grandparents Luther P. and Mable O. George. She is survived by her husband, Christopher V. Cushing, her five children, her parents, Robert and Linda Fraley, Connie Cushing, her sister, Natalie Towns, grandmother, Marilyn J. Welsh, and niece Tarmetria N. Towns. Included in her family members are brothers and sisters in law and many cousins, nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 2503 W. Anthem Way in Anthem, AZ 85086. Flowers can be sent to the home of Lana Huband at 4312 West Kastler Lane, Phoenix, AZ 85087.
