On the evening of December 7, 2020, Christopher A Czaja (aka Chris, King Chris, Roy) died at the age of 57, a proud resident of Arizona.
Chris was born to Betty & Joe Czaja in Chicago, Illinois, on December 20, 1962. Chris married Darlene Rundle in 1990 and together they lovingly raised two rock solid sons, Joe and Jack, along with several of the boys’ friends that wandered through the house over the years.
After relocating to the Phoenix area in 2016, he proudly worked at American Furniture Warehouse. Prior, he had an extended career in the machine tooling industry. Many of his coworkers became lifelong friends. Anyone that knew Chris loved his humor most of all – he lit up every room with his shenanigans and storytelling.
Chris was an avid three cushion billiard player. The American billiard scene is small but the guys are a tight knit group. He always loved spending time with them improving his game, just talking about the game, and teaching the game to others. Music was a huge part of his life as well. A self-taught jazz pianist, he could always be found at the keyboard or listening to his favorite artists.
Chris is preceded in death by his father, Joe, and his mother, Betty. He is survived by his wife, Darlene, his two sons, Joe and Jack, his brother, Jeffrey (Dawn), his sister-in-law, Debbie Landgraf (Tom), his brother-in-law, Dave Rundle (Nila), one special niece, many nephews, a grand- nephew and other relatives and adoring friends.
Rest in peace, Chris, until we meet again.
